Has Anyone Used A Franke Flair

Vienna Photo Marathon 2008 on 25 October

freezing cold wars, including the bad light. No idea what the Vienna Chamber of Commerce have occurred to this nice event in the lowest October instead of September to be set (the Photo Marathon 2007 was the beginning of September). But never mind: The issue of starting utensils was a mess, a one-hour waiting period normally. The bulk of the marathon so photographers could only go out about 10 clock ... In contrast, the finish this year was completely unproblematic (2007 gabs quite jams ...). Let us hope that the Vienna Chamber of Commerce as the organizer to learn a little.

The topics were - guess what! - Once again totally sponsor-heavy, disjointed, and rather unimaginative. I knew right since 2007 it had not been different, therefore decided in advance to waive his commerce and the issues to interpret with my kids along with friends of different (good: at the restaurant and the "shopping districts" went to the right not but I had to move away from these images only a few yards from my apartment). And at frame 19, I have - mea maxima culpa - the focus is not followed up ... We'll see what Werma the jury says so ...

;-) PS: For the morons-in apostrophes Theme 23 I can not: This is an excerpt from the original list of topics ...

Numbness In Feet While Exercising

The Swiss House will soon calm

Autumn is approaching with rapid steps and the garden of Schweizerhaus Prater will probably soon the gates close. Therefore there to commemorate the bygone hot summer days a few thirsty impressions of the most popular beer garden in Vienna. The standard menu in the low cost option is there, Budweiser beer with raw disk (the latter are freshly made potato chips) or in the more exclusive version of Budweiser beer on tap with stilt (for our German friends: pork or pork):

In Water Bathtub Heater

Botanical microworlds

I found recently on a visit to the Alpine Garden of Botanical Garden the University of Vienna ( at Belvedere Palace), a raised bed with all sorts of very small alpine plants. Looking at them with a macro lens caused little fantasy worlds. Here is a sampling:

Indian Bollywood Actress Shows Boobs In Blaws

Quickie: diagonal lines

A flash tutorial on the topic: How to create those cool diagonal lines (such as a Web page background)?

Step 1:

First you need to create your own pattern: the diagonal lines. In the future, do you do then just always where you want to have these lines, a choice that can and diagonal lines (or other patterns) to fill.

So a new document with dimensions of 5 to 5 pixels.

VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure that the background is transparent and non-whites, as in my image. (I've only left the background white, so you can better see what I was doing!)

Step 2: Now your

you take the Pencil tool at hand and draws a diagonal line on your transparent background.

And whether you believe it or not, your pattern is ready!

you can save the pattern to Edit> Define Pattern ...

... and the choice of name can certainly be more creative.
Just think of something!

Step 3:

So, very nice. Our model we already have. Then I show you now even know how to model the fast in a graph below brings the diagonal lines and fades towards the bottom.

Open a new Photoshop project, this time with a black background, and equal to a new level.

on the "level 1" Your marked now with the marquee a spacious area, then right-click in the area and select FILL AREA.

Under the menu option "Fill with" need your "pattern" option. And in view of the patterns you should also take your very own created patterns with the black diagonal lines found on a transparent background. That your selects and clicks "OK".

Step 4: Wonderfully

! As you can see, first you see nothing. And that is because we have black lines painted on a black background. The fastest you will get a visible result, by pressing the "level 1" inverted , say, by converting black to white.

How? It's simple: Select
Level 1 and shortcut keys CTRL + ALT + I

should now look like your project as follows:

Step 5: Set

The opacity of diagonal lines, we down a little so that it a non- to jump into the eye. In the example I use an opacity of "30". But you can love to try what you like best.

Step 6:

the crowning crowning all accounts, we want to let the lines run out towards the bottom (which we have found about half a billion websites so great).

Nothing easier than that with the Marquee select an area and Select> Feather and choose Feather select one of about 50.

The larger you make the feathering, the more gentle or more, the course of your diagonal lines.

Now You press the DEL key and deletes it, with a soft transition, the lower part of your selected diagonal lines!

Finish.
Have fun!
