The Town Hall Square in the early morning. "90 Years of First Republic" is this year's motto. Slowly fill the space. Approximately 100,000 should become, according to ORF radio.
The 17th St. Stephans approaches with samba sounds. At the back left (where he formerly was sometimes politically) Hernalser and SPÖ leader Josef Cap can be seen.
closer to the Hernalser the Währinger (18th District) ...
And then comes "Fiona has to pay" has the initiative for a just tax reform (an allusion to the former finance minister Karl-Heinz Grasser, the "judge it is always" could, and his wife Fiona Swarovski) ...
... up front: Ferdinand Lacina, the Treasury under Vranitzky. Lacina was one of the most respected finance minister in Europe.

a gracious wave of the two below lurking photographers to ...
spied in the phalanx of marching old friends ...
and guess who is coming for dinner tonight ... ...
it is Mr. Donauinselfest himself, Harry Kopietz! Behind him District Wimmer, who is still propagated sour on his district citizens of Margaret (5th district), because to him his favorite toy - has been taken away by referendum - the garage in
Bacher Park .
A thoughtful social democrat at the Town Hall Square ...
little less thoughtful, but a little more clearly: the Young Socialists ...
Social Democrat And a thoughtful reminder of the social and socio-political awakening years under Bruno Kreisky. Meanwhile, smaller left parties gather later at the Parliament and State Opera:
