had the concept but a ready-made, that the Carinthian road extended to the quasi karlsplatz would have. block, we the shabby passage simply to extend the Fuzo to Operngasse (TU), move the races, ring before the opera and that the karlsplatz separates the city from under the earth, where his was one day the right say is!

I thought to myself, I try to visualize the whole time. One could go beyond the idea of the architect Roland Rainer and traffic calming as a kind of maximum solution, the whole area between Opera and Karlsplatz and car-free design. should

that would mean that trams, bicycles and carriages as the only road users as before in the new zone traffic on the road are. The car driveways to the large hotel (Imperial, Grand Hotel, Bristol, Sacher) remained preserved. The current Opernpassage would leave and would have to be some car subways make room (in the manner as known from Brussels or Paris). The existing car lanes would all be too pedestrian area. The whole thing can be found in detail in the following sketch.

Entrische angle in Vienna - Part 5: U-Bahn people in the three-room anatomy theater

Some time ago the University of the 3rd Vetrinärmedizinische District also moved to the periphery Floridsdorfer. The majority of the rooms went to the University for Music and Performing Arts. For some rooms in the Beatrixgasse 11, the new user but had no need why Hubsi Kramar there in the dissecting room, the dissecting room and another former auditorium his three-room theater accommodated. Thus, these buildings along with the hundred or so years of safe facilities for the time being even before the pick of the wreckers (especially the anatomy lecture hall is in Vienna today is a rarity - see the pictures below).

This evening was the three-room theater, but theater is no demonstration, but a small, fine opening. The Carinthian Slovene studied, landscape architect, and artist Hannes Phänopraktiker Gröblacher presented before his sketches, which he made in many hours of subway rides to passengers.

This Hannah is not alone, for about the same time as he began his underground sketch people (now 75 sketchbooks full of Viennese 3000 Ubahnfahrgästen!), Others did so in New York, Toronto and elsewhere in the world. On the Flickr site it probably came to the astonished eye-opening experience as on both sides of the Atlantic " Subway Sketchers " independent of each other showed up.

Below I post some impressions of the location and by this evening. Incidentally, the theater is really nice and cozy.
